Envelope

Standard

He put his heart in me,

For her a page full of feelings.

Frightened he took the letter out,

Oh How I wished she could see it,

Oh how I wished an empty envelope could shout.

Sky

Standard

Times have been hard,

They will get harder.

This is a fight for self respect,

Not a quarrel for stardom.

It’s hard to put your soul into words,

And still deal with rejection.

The day will come,

I will face redemption.

For good deeds,

Or for inconsiderate sins,

Only god knows.

All I remember is,

The path was paved,

The skies were clear.

There was earth beneath my feet,

Sky above my head.

I started flying,

Where I should’ve run,

They couldn’t believe their eyes,

Seeing what I had done.

Words were my wings,

Yes I did avoid the storm,

But by flying above the clouds.

Mirror #2

Standard

Everything was a blur

The world seemed upside down

In Front of the mirror as I stood,

This impeccable darkness was all over me

From where I see

This world is a ruthless abyss

And if I don’t do anything good enough,

I’ll vanish into it

“But what’s good enough?”, whispered my soul in disappointment

Mirror #1

The sadness reigned over me

I was a mere subject,

In Front of the mirror as i stood,

This impeccable darkness was all over me

From where i see

This world is a ruthless abyss

And if i don’t do anything good enough,

I’ll vanish into it

“But what’s good enough?”, whispered my soul in disappointment

Humans

Standard

Humans came into existence, because this universe was too beautiful to be left unwitnessed. Intelligent life was the only blunder in this creation, though the beauty being universe still has it’s safety ensured as there is no way to look in the sub-atomic mysteries and no way to move at or faster than light, which in cosmic perspective is still very slow.

Dear Oblivion

Standard

Dear Oblivion

Where thy rest?

My heart’s been feeling,

Feeling your presence.

You live in their ignorance,

You live in my loneliness,

You live right where,

I’m left alone.

You come right when,

Others are chosen above me.

You make me question,

When I’ll lay cold,

Would there be a ray of light?

Pulling me away.

Away from you.

Inevitable you are,

And you’re where I’ll finally rest.

All I look for,

A way to postpone our meeting.

A place to fight my each breath for,

A place not in the world,

In their heart.

Dear Oblivion,

I wish to stay apart,

But I know, I’ll see you soon.
